A workshop on efficient methods for potato moth control was organized within the framework of the TCP/ARM/3401 “Support to the Government of Armenia in elaboration and implementation of IPM program for Potato moth and mole control” project implemented by Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN in cooperation with the RA Ministry of Agriculture. The purpose of the workshop was to reveal the possibilities of organizing integrated moth control, as well as the necessary resource base.
During a Model UN conference held today at the UN Armenia Office, over 30 students improved their knowledge of the UN values, importance of non-proliferation of nuclear weapons, as well as their negotiation and communication skills. The conference was a simulation of the UN Security Council session dedicated to the issue of Nuclear Test conducted by the North Korea.
